Prof. Bronwyn Keefe, director of the Center for Aging and Disability Education and Research (CADER) at BU School of Social Work (BUSSW), will share her expertise on the healthcare workforce for older adults at “Workforce Challenges and the Role of Technology in LTSS and Healthcare”, a panel discussion at the 2025 Future of Aging Forum.

Restrictive immigration policies, a growing aging population, and limited pathways to advancement all contribute to the crisis the long-term care and healthcare workforce faces. The panel will explore how technology can address these challenges to better support this crucial workforce and improve the quality of care for older adults.

The 2025 Future of Aging Forum, presented by Somerville-Cambridge Aging Services, brings together Massachusetts professionals in aging to explore topics on health equity, age-friendly health systems, and the intersection of technology and the healthcare workforce.
