Kate Henneberry, MSW, LCSW

Professional Summary

Kate Henneberry, LCSW, has 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector in the Boston area; including work in residential mental health settings, school-based social work, foster care case management, resource navigation, and as a family therapist with a focus on trauma and attachment and grief and loss. Kate currently serves as Senior Manager of Alumni Relations at YouthBuild USA, where she leads the Alumni Services initiatives that focus on supporting YouthBuild graduates as they navigate their post program journeys through amplification of mental health and wellness, financial capability, social capital building, and community engagement.  Some of her recent work includes developing numerous workshops for The YouthBuild program, for the Massachusetts Child Trauma Pilot Project, and participated in the National Mentoring Summit in Washington D.C. on fostering leaders and change-makers.

Kate is also a lecturer at Boston University’s School of Social Work where she teaches courses on Human Behavior in Social Environment, Communities and Organizations: A Macro Practice Analysis, and Family Violence in Society.  Kate is the Social Engagement Chair of her UNH alumni committee and enjoys teaching figure skating lessons during the cold Boston winters.
