Professional Summary
Nancy Rhoads, LICSW, has over 30 years of experience working with children in education and community-based settings. Through providing services to children and families in both home and school settings, Nancy has extensive experience supporting families who have experienced a range of challenges including complex trauma. Programmatically, Nancy has provided supervision to Interns, Clinicians, Non-clinical providers, and Supervisors. In addition to developing and managing community-based programs, Nancy participated in the development of the In-home Therapy Practice Profile, Young Adult Peer Mentoring Practice Profile, and was a reviewer for the Massachusetts Practice Review. For 18 years, Nancy also served as a Special Education Surrogate Parent for children placed in out-of-home settings. Appointed to the Arlington Human Rights Commission for 11 years, during Nancy’s 3 years as Chair she focused on strengthening, formalizing, and building relationships between Town stakeholders.
