3/30: CADER Sponsors Careers in Aging Panel

Join The Network for the Social Work Careers in Aging Panel on 3/30.

Prof. Bronwyn Keefe and the Center for Aging and Disability Education Research (CADER) will present a virtual event on social work careers in aging. Attendees will hear from a panel of social workers who specialize in aging share their experiences working with older adults and share valuable advice for starting a career in this growing field. This free panel is presented in partnership with the Older Adult Behavioral Health Network, Simmons University, and Salem State University.

The discussion features Nandy Barbosa (SSW’23), a former CADER intern who specializes in culturally responsive care for Spanish-speaking and Cape Verdean-speaking older adults; and Peninna Delinois-Zephir, director of constituent services for Boston’s Age Strong Commission, who has completed over 70 hours of training with the CADER.

Join Prof. Bronwyn Keefe and BUSSW experts to learn more about paths to a social work career in aging.
