In an effort to prepare health care professionals and ensure better humane treatment of aging individuals, the Center for Aging and Disability and Research at BUSSW has launched a new online training program, Aging with Intellectual and Developmental Disability.

“The New York State Office for the Aging and Disabilities (NYSOFA), in partnership with New York State Development Disabilities Council (DDPC), and BU School of Social Work’s Center for Aging and Disability Education and Research (CADER), have announced a new online course designed to help the aging network workforce better understand what intellectual and developmental disabilities are and how they impact a person’s life from birth to older age.”
