Professional Summary
After 15 years working in day and residential programs for adults with developmental and other disabilities, Aaron pursued a dual masters degree in Social Work and Theology at Boston University. He has since been practicing faith-integrated psychotherapy for 15 years. Through his membership in the psychotherapy division of ACPE, he is involved on a task force developing and presenting the Pastoral Care Specialist Training Program, a 48-hour intensive continuing education course that supports parish-based clergy and lay pastoral caring team members, chaplains in a variety of contexts, and allied caregivers of faith to integrate their spiritual commitments and theological understandings with knowledge and skills from the behavioral sciences in order to pursue their caregiving ministries as ethically, effectively, and safely as possible.
