Professional Summary
Jonas Goldenberg, LICSW, served as BUSSW’s MSW Program Manager from 2018 to 2023, where he recruited part-time faculty and was instrumental in the completion of the CSWE reaffirmation. Since 2015 Jonas has been an adjunct faculty member at Wheelock College SSW and BUSSW. He is a BUSSW macro advisor, seminar instructor, online program facilitator, and seminar leader on licensing.Before BUSSW, Jonas was Director of Clinical Issues and Continuing Education at the NASW-MA Chapter. He consulted with/advocated for social workers on issues such as private practice, clinical and ethical concerns, legal and employment questions, and licensing. He also recruited and selected speakers for conferences, workshops, and webinars.As a BUSSW alumnus (’78) Jonas had a varied career. He spent many years in the EAP field, was Executive Director of a non-profit, co-owned a consulting/coaching/training firm, and held positions such as program director, clinical supervisor, and individual, group, and family therapist.
