Kathy Woerner is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (GA CSW 007579) in the state of Georgia who works with adults and couples primarily in the telehealth venue, but will see clients in the North Fulton County area by special appointment. Clinically, Kathy received her education at Lynchburg College (B.S. 1997) and Boston University (M.S.W. 2016) and is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Financial Social Work (FSW), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Kathy is the proud owner of DownStreamFirst.com a women-owned small business providing mental health counseling and EAP consultative services to individuals, couples, families, and businesses.

Kathy has recently started to lead book study discussions on current topics in the field of social services through her Cultivate Mental Health program for mental health professionals.
