Michaela Cook, MSW, LICSW

Professional Summary

Michaela Cook is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Rhode Island and mental health therapist who has been practicing since 2014. She has a Master’s of Clinical Social Work from Boston University School of Social Work and a Dual Bachelor’s of Arts Elementary Education and Sociology/Anthropology from Saint Michael’s College. Michaela will empower her clients to fulfill their potential while making changes for the betterment of their true selves while supporting their ability to be true to their authentic selves. Her guiding principle is to “Never give up on someone with a mental illness. When I is replaced by We, illness becomes wellness” (Shannon L. Alder).  In her spare time, Michaela enjoys giving back to her community and volunteering. She has a passion for art, music, dance, and everything sports: from playing, watching favorite teams to learning from others about their interests. Michaela has love for animals of all kinds and love for ice cream!
