Professional Summary
Rashidat incorporates collaboration, critical thinking, analysis, process improvement and leadership to articulate macro level ideas through verbal communication, presentations and training. Rashidat earned her Masters in Social Work after graduating from BU’s Questrom School of Business Administration with concentrations in accounting and finance and working in the business community. After obtaining her MSW, she worked as a clinician providing individual treatment, initial evaluations and outreach in the higher education field. She has expanded her practice to incorporate her background in the arts and athletics. She is trained in the therapeutic use of art and writing in social work from the Northwest Creative and Expressive Arts Institute Professional Program. As a former student-athlete at BU, she also provides private basketball training with an emphasis on skills for focus, confidence and enjoyment. Her training areas include sports in social work, journaling for wellbeing, program development and how to optimize presentations for the strategic presentation of data and programs.
