Sophie Hansen, MSW, LICSW

Sophie Hansen (she/her/hers) has been a practicing social worker since 2016, after completing her MSW degree at Simmons University with a specialization in Children & Families.  After starting her career in clinical social work with children and families, Sophie turned to macro social work where she consults with organizations in government relations, education and healthcare. She has taught macro social work since 2019 and is also a field advisor to graduate students in social work at Boston University. She is passionate about showing the variety of roles and settings in which social workers have an impact and be successful, as well as redefining what macro social work can look like.
