The Network for Professional Education at Boston University School of Social Work (BUSSW) will offer a series of webinars beginning this spring, providing professional learning opportunities across an array of subject areas including addiction support, CBT, caregiver support, and more. 

4/27: Do I Need to Be an Addictions Expert? Engaging and Supporting People Who Use Drugs

Gain concrete tools and strategies for communicating with people who use drugs in order to connect them to better care. This webinar will also discuss how stigma can prevent people who use drugs from seeking care and how providers can address harmful stereotypes. (Registration Full)

9/22 & 9/29: Cognitive Behavior Theory for Substance Use Disorder

This 2-part clinical training workshop will review Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) theory and interventions for the treatment of substance use disorders. Clinicians who provide individual substance use treatment will benefit most from this series of workshops.
