Description
This five-course certificate program provides a comprehensive foundation for professionals in Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRCs) and the No Wrong Door System who work with older adults and individuals with disabilities. Learners gain knowledge of core issues in aging and disability, explore the range of services and supports available, and develop skills in conducting person-centered assessments. The program emphasizes consumer choice, cultural humility, and the role of self-determination in supporting individuals and families. Learners also strengthen their understanding of mental health concerns and the principles of consumer control, preparing them to deliver high-quality, person-centered support across diverse communities.
