Online Certificates
Description
This forthcoming 4-course certificate program will focus on building the competencies needed to be a successful supervisor, team leader and manager in your human services organization. Learners will explore the challenges faced by leaders as they strive to work effectively in a variety of organizations, with a range of systems and a diversity of staff and volunteer responsibilities to manage.
The courses in this forthcoming certificate include:
- Human Services Management
- Program Planning
- Volunteer Engagement in the Aging Networks
- Program Evaluation (coming in Winter 2025)
Acknowledgement: Some of the content of these courses is based on Boston University School of Social Work’s MSW courses on Human Services Management, Planning and Program Development, and Program Evaluation. This course was also created in collaboration with the Massachusetts Council on Aging (MCOA).
